It’s like someone I wasn’t sure existed told me a secret the world doesn’t know yet. And it sounds like good news.

Have you ever thought you found a 4 leaf clover in the grass and tried to reach for it, but instead you realized there was no 4 leaf clover? And now your hand just got covered in dog shit? I have felt that way too, brethren. Times are obsidian, and when you scour that same cupboard for the dreams you’ve been saving up, it might take some dusting to know they’re still there, next to the...

for this body I claim is not me but it must do may it arch its back to the willow’s talons and rest its head on softer hands let it harken to the wind in its soliloquy may it lead somewhere directionless a trail as forgetful as the day

So I just lost 4 pairs of underwear in the span of 3 minutes. Upon wearing my third pair of underwear in a new set of 3 I got for Christmas, I realized unconsciously that they were a bit constrictive, but that they should stretch. I tried to violently stretch my 3rd pair after today, but to no avail. These things are bound with leather. I checked the label on the back of it and it said for sizes...

I had the longest day of extraordinary moments that began as soon as I woke up, and it’s after 1 a.m., and I cannot stop listening to “Every Morning” by Sugar Ray. I’m sorry, I can’t. I am sorry.

Meanwhile, I catch myself looking back at these happy people existing in a hall of portraits of themselves. How do they manage to stay removed, yet unmoving, with smiles to which only encompassing flames can put an end?

I am searching for silence. The absence of all distractions corporeal and not. I am searching for quiet: not a quiet place, but quiet. I am at a point that realizes the issues with me and they are noises; rocks, headlines, and foil floating in my head-space. Knowing what the problem is is in itself the forefront in a sequence of solutions. I am thinking of a quarter that exists through my mental...

All right so Charlotte’s Web. It is cruel and immoral to eat an animal right? Because it definitely makes me feel bad for Wilbur the pig. Not that I became a vegetarian after watching it, but if I were to allow one pig to live and die of old age, it would definitely be him. But what about that creepy ass spider describing intricately how she kills flies and basically disembowels them as if...

flewinto: 1. It was the summer after 8th grade and someone tried to pay me a dollar to ride the Zipper with you. The ride went upside-down and I was afraid you would try to hold my hand. I said no. 2. Instead of talking, I dedicated lines of morbid poetry to you. The Internet told me I could be in a…

We made our sweep for trails of lighted foliage. We waved to warm-chested refugees in cafe corners. This is the dance between currents that blow their way into forgetting with a gloved hand’s caress. They are mine never for the taking, but for the giving away. I am no dreary-eyed stoplight painted onto eyelids, but more a dusted flicker in your window when the sun burgles. A vigil of cupids...

She used to wake up spider-limbed, before the sun could graze her elbow, and left pillow cases printed with hair strands caught mid-spin. She was the Gutenberg of love-making, her clothing a raconteur.

So I wanted to entertain myself by reading an argument over myspace with an ex. But it looks like it was all deleted, as I was either too hurt by it and smart enough not to regress or one of the two.

My clock is a hydra. When an hour and minute hand dissipate, two more sets of hour and minute hands grow from the center. Yet coping with vanity is just that, vain, and the day recedes forever swiftly below the hot horizon. One of the hands is the title of a book I’m reading, while the next one is a rolled up, fact-based summary of my past. Another points to a pair of eyes I could stare at...

gracegiven: I completely support the Occupy Wall Street Movement. I think they should be allowed to demonstrate. I also agree with all of the reasons people are there. Student loans are horrible, people shouldn’t have to choose between food and medicine, and 1% of the country shouldn’t be allowed to have all of the wealth, and monetary comforts that come with that privilege. Lots of unjust...

A book of moving pictures
I had a dream that was airbrushed in colorful lapses of logic that coexisted with the feeling that I could be anything. No, I was anything. I was a sailboat penciled from lined paper, cruising the shallow lined paper waves on a sunny lined paper day. A tricycle swimming backwards up the Statue of Liberty. I woke with morning amnesia, collecting the widowed shards of a story on how these blankets...
